About Us
Made to move someone
ORO is a house of personalised gifting — born from six years of artisanship, and a belief that the most valuable gifts are the ones engraved with intention.
A name that means gold
ORO — from the Italian word for gold — was born from a quiet question: why do most gifts fade from memory within weeks? After six years of crafting personalised jewellery under our parent brand Etchcraft Emporium, we had served over six lakh customers. And in that time, we learned something: the gifts that were remembered, the ones kept for decades, weren't the most expensive. They were the most intentional.
A bracelet engraved with the date of a first meeting. A pendant carrying a child's handwriting. A kada inscribed with a father's name. These weren't gifts — they were time capsules, worn close to the skin. That insight became ORO's reason for being: to craft pieces so personal that they outlive the occasion that prompted them.
Today, ORO is a dedicated house within Etchcraft, focused entirely on gifting — for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, farewells, corporate milestones, and the quiet moments between. Every piece is crafted in India by artisans trained in both traditional and modern techniques, using premium 904L and 316L stainless steel, 22K gold plating, and a meticulous platinum polish. Every engraving is individually executed. Every gift ships in our signature navy architecture.
We don't do mass production. We do keepsakes — the kind that become heirlooms.
What we believe
Three principles that shape every decision — from the raw steel we source to the handwritten note that accompanies every order.
Never mass produced
Every piece is engraved individually, polished by hand, and quality-checked by a human — not a machine. If we can't make it meaningful, we won't make it at all.
Materials that endure
904L and 316L surgical-grade stainless steel, 22K gold plating, platinum polish. Hypoallergenic, tarnish-resistant, and built to outlast trends — the way a gift should be.
The gift, the gesture, the box
Presentation is not an afterthought. Signature navy box, gold foil tag, handwritten note on ivory card — because the unboxing is where the story begins.
The journey
From a single engraving bench to a house trusted across three continents.
Etchcraft Emporium is founded

Crossed 6 lakh customers

EtchcraftEmporium
Never Mass Produced. Always Remembered.
Built on the shoulders of a six-year legacy
ORO by Etchcraft doesn't start from zero. It inherits six years of artisanship, a network of master engravers, and the trust of over six lakh customers. Every ORO piece is made in the same workshop, by the same hands, that built Etchcraft Emporium into one of India's most loved personalised jewellery houses.
What changes is focus. Etchcraft serves a broad audience of spiritual, devotional, and personal jewellery. ORO exists for one thing — gifts that move people.
Visit Etchcraft EmporiumWe're not in the jewellery business. We're in the memory business. A piece of metal becomes priceless the moment it carries a name, a date, a moment — and we take that responsibility seriously.
